"... And she answered: Peace" 2 Kings 4:23
In the course of our life we can go through difficult circumstances and we can suffer great losses, difficulties in different areas of life. Can we feel doubts at some point about the things of God?
How do we face the difficult situations of life, how do we face tragedies, the diagnosis of a disease, the death of a loved one, a divorce that came to fade many of our dreams, as we closed the chapter of a situation in our life that does not we manage to understand in its totality, there are so many stories and so many tragedies and although the stories are different, even that the different characters, the feelings are always the same, the confusion the impotence, the resentment, the reproach to God, the renunciation to live a new life.
We must remain trusting in God, Faith is important but sometimes we handle the Faith as a mental affirmation, as a statement, all this is true but it is not the whole degree of Faith, we have memorized certain verses read messages of encouragement, they can help us to increase the Faith and overcome that situation, but as much as we Christians do this, and our heart remains the same, we have not overcome that situation in its entirety. Because we need another type of Faith, it is the Faith that is born in a close and personal relationship with God, it is the total and absolute trust placed in him by a God who loves us, to what extent do we believe that God loves us and has the best for us? Have we fully trusted in it only when everything is going well or at the first sign of difficulty do we abandon the Faith? He loves us so much, that he will help us out of any circumstance and take any difficult situation and turn it to our advantage. Do we know how to praise God, only in good times or do we continue to praise Him in difficult times?
The word of the opening verse was uttered by a woman who had just left her son in a dead house. I was distressed, distressed, yet I seek the man of God, I trusted in the God of that man, and in spite of the circumstances in his heart, I had the hope of returning and finding him alive.
When we have Faith we feel peace, and if today our finances go bad, our life goes bad ... tomorrow everything will be different. If we feel weak and discouraged ... tomorrow we can be with renewed strength. If we feel ourselves in the middle of a spiritual storm, under rays and lightning ... let us live our day in Faith and tomorrow the sun may be shining on us.
Maintain absolute trust in our father, even if we do not understand everything, even if we do not have the answers to all our questions, we know the most important thing He loves us and is in control of our lives.
God bless you greatly
