Poland's ruling religious conservative party, Peace or law and justice group, judged the judges to take retirement as a violation of the European Court of Justice's EU alliance agreement. In a 26-page letter from the Polish government, Dennhah told the European Court of Justice that their country's law and court reforms are seen as an internal matter of the country. The European Court of Justice, on the other hand, sees judges as an attempt to force the country's democracy and rule of law on the issue of forced retirement.
Earlier in 2012, the government of Hungary's right-wing conservative President Victor Urban also tried to make the judges retirement age of 62. At the end of the European Court of Justice's efforts, it did not work. EU member states signed a distribution agreement with refugees coming to Europe in 2015. Later, the agreement to refuse to take refugees in accordance with the Poland and Hungary Agreement is also to be resolved in the European Court of Justice.
