Photographing Matti at this public playground in Candijay, Bohol. It's just a ten-minute drive from our place. Unfortunately, our town doesn't have any public playground like this one so my little one would always request that we visit this one as there are slides and rides.
Used the Fuji camera for these photos, using a manual lens is just challenging especially when it's almost sundown and the subject is an active toddler! But I guess these photos turned out well.
Both my husband and I work from home and so there's a tendency of our little one just wanting to also just look at a tablet or a phone the entire time so it is necessary and very important for us to get him some time to be outdoors. Going to playgrounds like this is one of the ways we could think of. I am just happy that even if our town doesn't have a playground like this one, the public playground of the neighboring town is just a few minutes away.
What I like about this playground is that the ground is made of synthetic grass so it is much safer compared to the gravel and stone ones of Duero. There's someone who would overlook the playground and they also request the kids to wear socks but when we visited that time, we didn't bring a sock and the personnel just allowed us but reminded us not to forget it next time.
Looking at the photos here, it is quite obvious how excited and happy he was playing around. He also was able to interact with other kids. With three slides, kids were very exhilarated and would often slide synchronously and it looked super fun!
I look forward to the next play time especially since it has been raining these past few days. How about you? Do you let your kids play at public playgrounds too?
