The holiday made us do the following things:

In the morning, we went to our neighbor’s property, we have 23 coconut trees they had lent to us and we hired someone to pick some young coconut fruits, opened it up, scraped the flesh out, and made buko lamaw from the coconut fresh water and the flesh, we just added condensed milk. This is the dessert we prepared for our day at the beach.

My sister-in-law and brother got fish from the market and grilled it. We were supposed to make fish ceviche, but the market didn’t have any fish that is good for ceviche. Now, we got grilled fish and pork instead. We also had leftovers from the morning breakfast and brought them with us as well. Our family friend brought us also sweet potato and we cooked it too for our packed lunch.

The kids were really so happy and enthusiastic as we were on our way to the beach, Matti was super excited that when we were at the parking space, he was already running towards the beach!

It was a holiday and it was expected that there will be so many people at the beach. We were almost out of the table! Good thing some of the guests at the beach were already on their way home at almost noon time so we were able to secure one near the Talisay tree.

Matti and Kuya ZM were playing with the sand, we had lunch just right next to the waters as it was high tide. The beach was fully packed and it was a little struggle looking after the kids but I am glad that the kids were just also conscious about not going away from our area.

We stayed at the beach from 11 AM until five in the afternoon, it was even almost dark when we were on our way home. The challenge was actually to get the kids out of the water. My little one was already looking dark.

That’s it, thank you for reading!
