I don't have to go far to see the beach as our town is a coastal one, we can have a view of the sea just by traveling along the road. Sometimes, we go to the beach to just listen to the waves, sometimes, we swim too but a lot of times, we just observe the people around.

Even if I had seen the beach and the sea since I was still younger, I still have this longing to breathe in the aroma of the ocean. I love watching fishermen move their boats, paddle, and sail until I can't see them on the horizon, I love to see the action they do when they pull out their nets as they clear the fishes caught up in their nets, I like to hear the sound of the fishermen chatting with each other, I think it's relaxing to see these mundane things.

Two days ago, we went to Pasan, the first barangay of the town if one is coming from Tagbilaran City. We get to see the locals doing their day-to-day tasks. Most of the locals here are fishermen. My husband and I usually come here to buy some streetfoods then go to the shore and eat what we bought while we let Matti throw rocks to the sea.

While we didn't get to do that, its still good to be able to witness as the sun went down and the fishermen go out to start their night shift.
