It's been many, many weeks of struggles, but maybe that's just part of being in a different country. Either way, DTube absolutely refuses to work for me.
And yes, that was one part of the big reveal...I've moved to another country for a few months! And I'm so excited about the content I'm creating here. But since I've arrived, it's been nothing but frustration with uploading on DTube.
I've easily attempted over 50 uploads, out of which maybe 4 have been successful?
I haven't ever had issues like this when I was back home, but who knows. And I've tried everything (log out, re-log in, go to somewhere with the strongest wifi signal, use incognito mode, use a private network, use a public network, wait until the video loads before loading the thumbnail, etc). I've looked up solutions, asked friends for help, and gone through people's solutions that worked for them in the past.
But nothing has worked. I'm beyond stoked to share some of this stuff with you, if I ever have the chance. And the crazy thing is, the last time I mentioned my issues with uploading...the video uploaded the very next day. So who knows how it goes.
I'm going to try something either tomorrow or the next day, which will be a huge hassle, but may work, and at that point I'll have truly exhausted all options. Fingers crossed it works.
Just wanted to keep y'all posted because I know it's been too long of a wait. I guarantee you, 99.9% of people in this position would've LONG given up by now. But DTube is what kept me here on Steemit, and Mama didn't raise no quitter!
Anyway...(I hope)...the videos are coming.
And if anyone has any more answers, the repeated error message I get every single time is "please upload a video before submitting"....after I wait 30 minutes and the whole thing loads in front of my eyes.
