Hi Steemers, Niumes and Readers,
I posted about this on Niume because some of my posts were unpublished. They didn't like my signature links. I have been enjoying the lag of censorship on steemit.com very much. From experience I would assume this to be something rare.
Here is my comment on the Niume matter.
For those who don't know Niume, they are a blogging/posting site that pays creators 1$ per 1k views.
Niume has been a great platform for me so far - I am creating and publishing about what tickles my bones, on Niume and Steemit, I am earning good revenue + I meet a lot of other creators from all over the globe which is awesome
1. Feature Suggestion: Clickable Profile Links
Would be great for growth if people who visit our niume profiles, could actually click the links in our description. Especially since the link options niume provides are limited.
2. Comment on posting rules - clickable links in blog signatures
Niume wrote me several messages (a couple weeks ago) they were unpublishing some of my posts because...
"Your post should not be of a commercial nature (i.e: asking our users to buy or use a product or service"
Niume referred to the links I always leave at the bottom of my posts:
I agree that some sites baiting for clicks and sells are shameless in their procedure and I assume Niume Team wants to see original, authentic content only not seeing their platform being trashed... but I am just a dude doing what I like (playing games, shooting snaps, commenting about stuff I like). Publishing my thoughts and sharing my interests in suitable communities while advertising for my stuff on other platforms makes me and others grow.
The more we can grow by using Niume, Steemit and other platforms as our platform junction, the better and richer all sites will grow.
Pls allow me and others to advertise for our sites and businesses - it's not a competition when we grow together.
I often cross link my posts making audiences grow in several places which does all platforms good and looking at sites censoring each other ends up in one having to close its gates. Blocking and fighting similar ideas is not good business - 1 will disagree, many will agree.
Thank you for stopping by.
