What is Apache Pig?
In simple explanation Apache Pig is a platform that is used for analyzing large data sets that consists of high level language for expressing data analysis programs, coupled with infrastructure for evaluating these programs.

My inspiration is to change the existing icon/logo of this software from an illustration into a logo type that describes the description of the software.

Benefits / Improvements
It is an improvement over the existing as you can see that the existing icon/logo is just an illustration of the pig while mine can be used as icon/logo that describes the software/platform's description.
