Mi historia ♥️
My story ♥️
I was born in Cumana, Sucre State, Venezuela, on April 13, 1996, being the youngest of three siblings, making a family of six. My childhood passed in a very normal way, in a quiet family environment, where my father was the head of the family and went out every day to work, and in the afternoons or evenings he returned home after his day's work as a cab driver, before he worked as an electrical engineer, but because of all the political changes in my country he had to put aside his profession. My mother, on the other hand, dedicated herself to household chores, while I spent a lot of time with her at home, my siblings attended school.
However, that quiet and comfortable life would change about nine years after my birth, because my father got sick and unfortunately passed to an unearthly plane, that event shook our lives, as my mother was only dedicated to the home, despite having studied secretarial work, she had many years without working. I think at that time my older brother would have been 17 or 18 years old and my other two sisters 15 and 13 respectively.
My mom found herself alone in Cumana, since there we only had my dad's family, which in the end was not much help, so she decided to move to Margarita, the place where she was born and where all her family was. Here everyone welcomed us and helped us as much as they could, my mom got a job and it was so hard for her to keep us all small, to try to guide us so that we would not go off track, that I remember crying a lot for not being able to achieve things, to be able to give us a better quality of life. Because although we lived very well in Cumana, when we arrived in Margarita the change was radical, from living in an apartment to living in a house with many shortages, from going out in a car to take the bus, from studying in a private school to enter a public one, from having a father to only having a mother.
But none of that discouraged us, we were kids, how could we see that things were so difficult when we were so small? We all faced life as we could, we saw all things as a new adventure and in the end it was, an experience that would forge us and give us knowledge that now I can see more clearly. I grew up, my brothers returned to Cumana to study at the university, while I stayed in Margarita, studying and my mother working.
In the course of those years I experienced great changes and yet life had other surprises for me to go through. I studied high school in a technical high school, where I graduated as an intermediate technician in food technology, and it was the career that I decided to continue at the university, so I enrolled, but soon after I started it I realized that it was not my thing, I liked it, I like science and research, but I did not see myself in a future in that place, In addition to that we were living a strong social, economic and political blow in the country and little by little the university was declining, as in my plans it was never an option to stop studying, since all my siblings and I were striving to graduate I decided to change university, and in parallel I started working to help with the income at home. That job taught me many things and came with great moments and was not so demanding, but with a pretty tough schedule, so I studied and worked all the time since I graduated from high school.
I started looking for a new university while I continued attending the UDO very discouraged and already by obligation, but that same year I managed to change and started my studies in theater at the UNEARTE, and the truth is that since childhood my imagination has been volatile, I wanted to experience and be everything, and I feel that there is no better career that identified with me as that. Remember I told you that life still had surprises for me? Well, two years after starting college and my older sister had already graduated from the UDO, life hit us again, this time harder, breaking everything we had built in these years living in Margarita, my older brother died suddenly, a hard blow to my heart and my family, which still hurts a lot, it had been exactly 15 years since my dad had died and now my brother Luis died.
What a heavy year that was, a year of many changes, with all the pain in my heart, I had to continue with my life and although it was hard I managed to move forward and no, do not think that everything in life has been sadness and losses, although I have learned a lot from those events I have also lived beautiful and extraordinary things, I have fallen in love, I have had my heart broken, I have met friendships that are worth having all my life and I have remained faithful to what I believe in. Finally, I graduated from college last year and with me my mom was able to keep her promise to take all of us to college and graduate, although Luis was missing, my older brother made it despite the adversities and I also made it on his behalf and on behalf of my dad.
Today, I have a degree in theater, mention in acting, although I do not exercise my career for reasons that I will tell in another publication, I have fed my inner artist, I have many dreams to fulfill, like every human being, I know that there are difficult roads too, but my mind and my attitude now work in my favor and although right now I am not in the place I want and maybe I am not doing what I love I know I will make it. Here I hope to share more of my life, my experiences, my dreams, my frustrations, my tastes and my vision and I hope you all join me, we'll see what happens ✨.
