About Ebonyi State, Nigeria

Ebonyi state is located in South-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The state is predominantly dominated by the Igbos with other minority ethnic groups from neighbouring states. The people of the state are predominantly farmers and traders.

In Ebonyi, the festival features dozens of masquerades that thrill spectators in annual festivals and other events. The masquerades dress in colourful robes and masks made of wood and fabric.
