It's been a few ?years? since I entered the Splinterlands art contest, my focus yesterday was WATER and whenever I have a water team I always include MEDUSA. When the stun works she can help the team slay hard AF.
I wanted to do a softer looking version of her while keeping the main traits of red eyes and green hair, and of course the fact that she's a Mermaid.

To create this art I started off creating some AI generated assets, here is a quick collage of some of my options:
As you can guess I used the one on the top left.
First step was cutting her out and fixing some imperfections, her boob tattoos were different on each side so I fixed that, gave her some red glowing eyes, and of course made the hair green. Also she had some of the usual AI wonky fingers which needed a little refining but still kind of look like claws LOL.
I then used some other AI assets as a background and played around with blend modes until I liked the look.
For the last step I imported the background into photomosh to make it wobble a little, then I added the PNG of MEDUSA and made her wobble a little too! I also made a few slight color adjustments, as you can see the background in the GIF is a bit darker.
