We attended the Orlando area Thai Temple to see the ceremony where young men dedicate their lives or a period of time to becoming a Thai Monk.
The ceremony is very colorful and is a celebration for the "monk to be" and his family. Of course you have plenty of chanting and prayers and food to eat :-) But it really is a celebration of what this means for each young man.
The Thai Temple is a beautiful collection of decorated and holy buildings that are used in the ceremony. I have several photos and videos showing the parade of young men with their families. We really enjoyed out time in seeing these young men grow up and make such a huge decision in their lives. Thank you for watching ;-)
