This is a creative story of " The woman with an issue of blood" in the bible
Little wonder how Emmanuella was able to save herself from the demonic ailment that she had been battling with for twelve years.The news quickly spread like wildfire around the neighboring countries as she shared her testimony in the largest populated campground.
It was a wonder and very difficult to believe. Her story was a testament that the rich also cry. "How did you do it?" was the question that everyone keep asking her. Even myself could not but wonder how it happened until I listen to her testimony on Facebook.
According to the testimony she shared, she has been suffering from this deadly disease for twelve good years. I thought she was a single lady until I listened further and discovered that her husband left her and took the children away all because of this deadly ailment.
Emmanuella thought she could find solace in the shoulders of her friends, little did she know that her friends were only a friend in good times and not a friend indeed. Her best friend whom would always attend parties together with her also departed her and even promise never to come close again.
She went to the last resort who happened to a prophet so to say, she was happy that an end has finally come to her ailment, only to discover that he only disguised as a man of God just to extort money from her.
Almost all the hospitals already knew her as a regular patient due to her continuous patronage. She did not fail to mention how the nurses frown their faces as soon as she was in sight. She lived in isolation, rejection and depression all through those years.
Despite all of these, she refused to give up. One day, she heard about a great physician who was very powerful. The news she has heard about the man gave her confidence that he is capable of healing her too. She made the decision to meet with him but the opportunity never came.
But on this fateful day, she heard that the great physician was passing by. Having been told by people that the only thing the man requested for is the potent charm, she quickly put on the charm, went beyond the man, touched his garment and was healed instantly. Her joy knew no bound as everyone who has once abandoned her came to celebrate with her.
The potent charm in this story means "Faith". It was her faith in Jesus, that made her whole immediately she touched the hem of the garment of Jesus.
"But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone." (James 1: 6a)
Have Faith in Jesus. Only Him can make the impossible, become possible.
