Vaccines are the first step to eradicating or minimizing the propagation of virus in the community, but it will not end the pandemic. We need at least a herd immunity either developed with or without the vaccines. I read before that herd immunity is long shot for a virus that quickly mutate and adapt to its host. What we can do rights now is to prevent the number of cases to spike up.
