A Love Story

by juecoree@juecoree

The moment I see you in Monet's
Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies
.
I was the boy on Picasso's Boy leading a horse.
I smile because I found my Shakespeare's Juliet
Her face has the Mona Lisa's smile.
I am glad Da Vinci found your smile.
Your dress and earrings suits well,
like Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earrings.

I would love to dine with you
in Van Gogh's Cafe Terraces
on a Starry Night.
I would love to dance with you
on Choppin's Spring Waltz,
and serenade you with
Mozart's a little serenade.
Passionately, I give you
a Gustav Klimt's the Kiss.

I would marry you on Sistine Chapel
under Michelangelo's master piece.
Dear, you walk in the aisles
with beats of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
I pronounce my love's vows
like Martin Luther King's speech on Washington
without fears for malice ears.
