Next time you find yourself in beautiful Whistler BC make sure you check out the Train Wreck by Function Junction. It's a quick easy hike and there's some gorgeous scenery along the way.
It's been a great season so there's a great runoff going right now and the river is ripping.
Someone has built a great inukshuk along side of the tracks and the Train Wreck itself has incredible graffiti everywhere. There's a series of cars that went off the tracks back in the 50's and it really is an incredible site.
There is a new suspension bridge there too and it's awesome.
We ended up having the real train coming along when we were heading back and that was a first! No bear sightings whatsoever though...
