Canada Day is always a great celebration and this years will be absolutely epic! 150 years is definitely a milestone anniversary and there are going to be a ton of great events everywhere throughout the day and wrapping up with some great music, festivities and fireworks.
If you haven't had a chance to get up here and visit us in Canada do it! Days like this really make me stand up and take notice about just how proud and blessed I am to have been born and raised in this magnificent free peaceful country.
Here's the riverside boardwalk by my home that so many people including myself get out and wander on almost everyday. I live in New Westminster which is the oldest settlement city here in the west. The building across the street from me was built in the 1800's and since Canada is a relatively new country. It's really nice to feel the history here.
This was last years Canada Day celebration and we are heading out there tonight. Hedley is playing and they are pretty much a legendary Canadian Band. It should be a great show and while the fireworks were amazing last year it's a pretty safe bet that they will be even better this year!
