Greetings beloved in Christ! It's another blissful Sunday. We continue to thank you for your selfless devotion for the word of God. "Blessed are those who are meek or submissive." We would continue to share the work of God titled : "God favours the Humbleness!"
Jesus Christ is our perfect example if we really want to learn how to be humbled and get favours from God Almighty. For the Bible describe Him being humble, simple because He was with God in Spirit but He never boast of himself being with God or as the Son as some Prince and Princesses do. But He humbled himself and came in the nature of human to be borne. He should have showed his powers during the time that He was maltreated and tortured. He humbled Himself for him to be crucified in order to save us.
Philippians 2:5-11
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
As Jesus humbled himself in this way it pleases God and as the Bible says: *"that's why Jesus has being given name which supercede all names in the World. For every where humbleness is mentioned, Jesus name is attached.
One thing is that God favours the Humbleness and suppresses the proud. God uplift the humble and even add more great things to him. God always direct the ways of those who humble themselves for him, He opens their eyes to see at far, something which is hidden from anyone. He gives wisdom to those who humble themselves and provides their heart desire. The would go through trouble but because they are humble, God would deliver them.
Isaiah 50:4-9
"The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up."
Humbleness is one way of being obedient to God and doing his likeness. Accepting his rules; the Ten commandments and being righteous to his words. What would we get if we boast of this life and we don't give respect to God? Maybe we were sometimes poor and became rich. We lifted ourselves trying to mean we are better than everyone. When we lose all the money, would we try to give respect to God? We need to be humble always no matter our status in life.
