Making Progress
It had already been 13 days since I first started playing #risingstargame and I am still enjoying it. I think that even with the limited number of missions that I am able to do, I still think that the game is dope. And even with the slower pace of the game for me because I easily run out of energy, I was able to progress fairly quickly.
I bought two (2) pizza boxes when I began and that really helped. The two Cold Slice Pizzas further boosted my ability to play. And while I am still a newbie, my advice to those newer in the game is to just play. Invest a small amount for the very basic and play. That's the best way to learn and move forward in this game, or I suppose in any other game.
Buying Packs with $starbits earned in-game.
I bought my first pack a few days ago partly with the Starbits that I earned from playing is kinda cool, but this time, I was able to accumulate 10,000 Starbits from playing. It's a small feat when you look at the bigger picture, but for me, it is a significant milestone.
Playing with money earned in-game accelerates the way I will be able to move up the levels, increase my stats, and ability to earn Starbits. I have not been able to earn any #Starpro yet, but that is another blog post update I will be eager to share with all of you.
Opening a Card Pack
For today's pack opening, I earned the following cards:
| Card #1: R184 Pascal | Card #2: i6 Mid Range Acoustics | Card #3: i79 Carbon Fibre Acoustic |
|---|---|---|
| Market price: 6,000 starbits | Market price: 828 starbits | Market price: 414 starbits |
*Screengrabbed from my collection.
TOTAL: 7,240 Starbits
I know that the value of these cards are higher. Listing this down gives me an idea of how the market values these cards now. If I wanted to, I can list them on the open market and I might even get higher prices if I wait long enough. But for now I will just keep them.
The 150 skill from the R184 is a great way to keep the Ego at bay and prevent loss of rewards.
To End
I have only been playing for two weeks and I've already earned enough to reinvest in game packs containing three NFT cards. This is a good example of a game that doesn't require big money to get in nor progress. It just needs persistence and time. Hustling is an integral part of the game; the same as it is in real life. This skill is transferable to real life scenarios that we face everyday. We also need an energy boost if we somehow feel down in real life. Or to increase our skills to be able to earn more.
I expect the game to be faster once I get more cards. I hope that I can also add in a little more than the in-game starbits I have earned with my own money because the low entry, starbits cost less to acquire these days you know. Hopefully, I will get to my target of 1 Million Starbits in a short while. Earning that elusive card that will be the crowning glory of playing the game. Plus, I get to enjoy the rewards and reinvest it into something worthwhile.
That's it for my short update. Thanks for checking out my blog. Have a fun time earning and playing the game. Love and peace.
