My name is Juan Ignacio Romero, I live in Caracas Venezuela. I am student of economics, tech enthusiast, book reader, gamer, e-sports aficionado. I suffer from depression but so far I have been able to maintain a normal and standard life. I have a particular appreciation for controversy as well as discussion as a means to transfer ideas. I find that the best way to approach an argument is to separate who you are from your ideas , as when someone conflicts with your ideas wont lead to a conflict with you.
I love computers, build mine (Jarvis) around 2 years ago although I still consider it a work in progress, I try to do something new with it every year, so it keeps changing and evolving as time passes. I have a very unorthodox approach to most subjects which leads me to differ from what is the norm as I believe the norms where set in place by a completely different society and should be changed.
Politics where my first love. I was first introduced to them in high school when I realized I wanted to be a politician to change the very corrupt country I live in. But it broke my hearth as first loves tend to do, living in a country where political persecution is a big deal, and coming from a family with multiple cases of persecution during dictatorships, since my grand-grand father ran a underground news paper during the Gomez's Military regime, I did't want that to be my future. I decided to study economics as I though it would fulfill both my mathematician and sociology needs (It hasn't worked out as planned so far).
Currently I am looking to develop a career on e-sports as an analyst/caster and hopefully in the future a team owner. My vision is to some day make LatAm a respectable region in most e-sports , with serious competition and a consistent flow of good players rather than a couple of outliers.
During my spare time (which is a lot) I try to learn as much as I can from everything, science, politics, games, news and when I have the inspiration for a topic I write about it. In the future you will probably see me write about all kinds of things. I think is is up to every one of us to become the best and most educated being we can be as education (not necessarily on the tradicional sense of the term) can only lead us to a better more open minded and progressed society.
