Japanese haikus are one of the most beautiful and at the same time most disconcerting poetic arts that exist.
It could be said that in themselves they contain that abstract wisdom collected in the I Ching or Book of Changes - which Wilhem Reich and C.G.Jung studied so much and so well- where Yin and Yang mutually seduce each other, in a singular logic, which for Voltairean Western thought can be attractively disconcerting.
The shadow of a leaf reflected in the bark of this tree, not only reminded me, due to its shape, of a Japanese graphic, but also brought to mind a phrase, which considered haiku or not, well I present here, basically as a argument: 'where you only see paper, then a tree is dead'.
