Like all great families of living beings, the webbed ones also have their divisions, kinships and peculiarities.
It is evident that not all web-footed animals are as splendid and spectacular as swans, a way that, by the way, the powerful Zeus adopted, among many others, to seduce the beautiful maiden Leda, but they are no less attractive and interesting for that.
This small mallard, for example, also has a striking and beautiful plumage and, viewed like this, sleepy and motionless, casting a sweet shadow on the calm surface of a pond, it provides not only the impression of contemplating an inhabitant of a bucolic landscape, but also, at least, an image not lacking in beauty and interest.
