I have the impression, when reading your post, that architecture may be going through another retrospective look at the past, as it already happened at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, when the neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic became fashionable. In any case, regardless of its functionality, as you say, it must be recognized that the building is beautiful and that this cube shape is significant, since that is how the foundation stones were, whose shape can also be seen in numerous works of art. Tengo la impresión, al leer tu post, de que la arquitectura puede estar atravesando otra mirada retrospectiva hacia el pasado, como ya ocurriera a finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, cuando se puso de moda lo neorrománico y lo neogótico. De cualquier forma, independientemente de su funcionalidad, como dices, hay que reconocer que el edificio es bello y que esa forma de cubo es significativa, pues así eran las piedras fundacionales, cuya forma se puede también apreciar en numerosas obras de Arte.
