This is one of hundreds of drawings that I consider a fail. I reckon I'll post more in the future.
When I started drawing this I thought it looked so good. I thought I captured the values, tones and likeness very well. Even other people said so. However, after having had this drawing out for a while now, I can see that it's actually quite meh. It doesn't look anything close to how good I thought it was.
And that's the great thing about time. It gives you perspective to see things clearly. Excuse all the drawings puns :) But it's good in that I can see where my problems are I still struggle with accurate likeness and the light values are bad here.
All this means is that more practice is required. One of these days I will get this right :)
