My parents' relationship makes me believe that there is truly forever. They kept their promises to each other until today as what they promised on their wedding day. Hello there, Hivers! Today I'm happy to share the simple 21st wedding anniversary of my parents.
May 26, 2022, my parents celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. It was a small and simple celebration, but it was a special day for them. It was actually my mom's idea, and she talked to me about this simple celebration to surprise my dad, and it melts my heart how mom always thinks of my dad and does her best to make him happy, as well as me and my brother.
'Pancit Bihon' or Filipino noodle dish
Sweet and sour chicken
My mother has to work that day and must sleep in order to have enough energy and to be sleepy at work, but she still makes time to prepare something for their wedding anniversary. She prepares a Filipino noodle dish known locally as "pancit bihon." It's really good especially with calamansi. She also makes delicious sweet and sour chicken. This is the only food we have because it is all my mother can afford right now. It was lunchtime, which was perfect because I was already hungry too. We also bought soft drink to complete the meal.
Mom planned to order a cake, but we are so thankful that my aunt gave it to them for free. My aunt has a small business called "Mom Pastries," and she gave the cake to my parents as a gift for their wedding anniversary. My mom and her granddaughter also took some pictures because mom asked it and they were so cute. Ezalea is so very naughty. She gives my parents a headache sometimes, but we still love her.
I'm really proud of them. I'm proud of them for overcoming all of life's challenges. They've been through a lot,and sometimes it gets to the point of break up, but they still stay and fix everything. Seeing them guinely happy makes me happy as well.I have nothing to ask for because they are already enough for me.
Mom has to go to work around 6 p.m. after that. It's a little sad because these are the only things we have, but we're happy to be celebrating their wedding anniversary, and that's what matters. No words can express how much I love then and I'm happy that we are complete (my brother was not in the pictures because he doesn't like it and he was busy with his schoolwork). I will forever cherish this moment in my life. Happy 21st wedding anniversary to the both of you! I love you ❤️
These simple things and celebrations mean a lot to me, and I'm proud of what I have now. Hoping for more celebration with them.
