Artwork for @Sndbox's #Crypto Art #Challenge, Steem edition:

🔴🔵👓 Best viewed with 3D red-blue glasses

Welcome to the 7th Crypto Art Challenge. As we gear up for the launch of The Creative Crypto Magazine (creativecrypto@creativecrypto) we're hosting some fun and creative crypto art exercises.

In the spirit of crypto-creativity we ask that you -

Pick a famous artist (Picasso, Van Gogh, David Hockney, Michelangelo) whoever you want - and interpret the Steem logo into that style. Other components of the image (background, details, other elements) are completely up to your imagination.

For this one I chose to create an #abstract #illustration using the Steem logo and #graphic elements from my own #visual vocabulary. The #artwork was done using a #Stereoscopic #3D effect and it is best viewed with a pair of red-blue glasses for depth.

Anaglyph 3D is the name given to the stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by means of encoding each eye's image using filters of different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, typically red and cyan.

Anaglyph 3D images contain two differently filtered colored images, one for each eye. When viewed through the "color-coded" "anaglyph glasses", each of the two images reaches the eye it's intended for, revealing an integrated stereoscopic image. The visual cortex of the brain fuses this into the perception of a three-dimensional scene or composition.
