With the Super Bowl concluding, landing a nasty hit on the Vegas books, many sports fans turn to the regular season basketball for the first time as the sports world enters March Madness and the NBA Playoffs. With the trade deadline approaching in the NBA and playoff seeds starting to come into the picture, it's a great time for basketball...and an even better time to make some money!!
Bucks (-1.5) vs Knicks
The Knicks are losers of their last 3 games, including a 2 point loss to the Bucks a couple days ago and a last minute loss to the Atlanta Hawks, the worst team in the league. The Greek Freak is playing his best basketball of the season, putting him at the top of the MVP ladder with James Harden. Jabari Parker's return and the Knicks' current struggles put the Bucks in a very good position to cover the spread and pick up the DUB.
Celtics vs Raptors (Over 208)
Kyrie and Marcus Morris will be returning to the Celtic's lineup tonight, but with defensive stud Marcus Smart still out, look for the Raptors to dictate the game and push the score high. Led by Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, the Raptor's have one of the most feared backcourts in the league that can put 120 on the board any night. Marcus Smart will be a critical piece in this season series, and not having him tonight will hurt the Celtics.
Thunder (+9.5) vs Warriors
The Thunder are currently on a 4 game losing streak an the spread plays to that fact. A team with 3 All-NBA players should never be a 9.5 point underdog. I expect Russ, Melo and PG to show up for this nationally televised game and play it close the whole time.
