i'm just accumulating and hodling DEC
pretty much every new thing we add to the game from now on will involve a new DEC sink
and the daily reward pool for battles will slowly decrease over time
i'm always surprised at how quick everyone is to dump stuff on the markets, but i guess that's the MO of crypto people, no long term vision or patience

Guilds
The next big release for Splinterlands will be Guilds. Like every other game that I had played before, Guilds or Clans will undoubtedly raise the gameplay to a whole new level. There might even be Guilds exclusive items or battles or tournaments and I am sure Splinterlands will be very much different from what we are playing now.
As Matt mentioned before, Guilds and all future enhancement of the game will be DEC sinks. Meaning players will have to pay DECs to participate. Maybe 100000 DECs to create a Guild? Or 5000 DECs to join a Guild?
Hodl your DECs
For players in the lower leagues, it is not easy to earn DECs. I think some of you might be only getting 70 or 80 DECs per win. Instead of selling every DECs that you earned, maybe you should start hodling them and wait for the big announcement.
Or even better, start buying some from the steem-engine market!
