Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to watch the game last night so the opinions in this post are strictly made from the box score and highlights.
The Suns are a very good team.
All five starters for the Suns ended the game with 10+ points led by Devin Booker with 18. Yes, you read that right, the leading scorer had just 18 points. To win a game without a 20 point scorer by 25 points is very impressive and is a sign of a dangerous team.
Jokic is a great basketball player, but he cannot do it alone.
Jokic was easily the best player on the floor for the Nuggets (as he usually is), but his supporting cast was no where to be found. The rest of the starters combined to make as many buckets as Jokic did. MPJ and Aaron Gordon will need to step up in big ways if the Nuggets have any chance of winning a game, let alone evening up the series.
Series outlook? Suns win 4-0
I just don't see a way the Nuggets win a game this series. The Suns are proving how complete of a team they are and without Jamal Murray the Nuggets a lacking a scorer to lead the team with the Joker.
