Justin, you cannot change the power down period to anything shorter than 1 week without destroying the content platform steemit.com. Rewards are paid out every 7 days and a power down of any length shorter than 7 days would kill any sort of content discovery we have on here.

Other than that I am probably one of the few that would like to see some community witnesses as well as tron witnesses in there so that we can work together to benefit both sides, but you need to do a lot more due diligence on how steem and steemit work before you can start making any changes. There is a steep learning curve here and you really need to understand it before making any changes. There are reasons why things are the way they are in most instances.

That being said, all of us working together for win-wins is a better solution than trying to impose either side's will on the other. Lets turn this into something great as opposed to splitting it into two.
