I am getting close to 1 week in on CTPX, The Hive, and a few days ago became a Listnerd. I find this all pretty fascinating. I haven't experienced this kind of learning curve since my college days or when I started as a lab tech in a busy reference lab and was pretty much expected to hit the track running. I no longer think that this is all laid out somewhat counterintuitively (that was my 1st 3 days of struggle). Now, I just realize how expansive and interrelated it all is. As I move forward I hope to establish some good relationships here. Get some great advice (I already have) and wind up thoroughly enjoying this endeavor with my keystrokes here having become second nature. Thanks to all of you that develop and nurture this living, breathing organism. So glad I am now participating nevertheless still basically an onlooker.
Related to the above - I had 1 semester at Syracuse University when I was 18. I went back to college when I was 50 and graduated in Forensic Biology at 54 from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC. Jumping headlong into the unkown or unfamiliar at any age while scary is the adventure of a lifetime.
