If you retire early and be financially free, you soon realise that you just dont belong in society anymore. Like whenever you fill in a form or get asked what it is you do, its just not acceptable to say your retired at like 30 -40 years old. You become a glitch, and it almost worth having some kind of normal income stream just to keep everyone happy. Sad but just how this world is, also especially without a good few million forget it, especially with rising inflation. It insane how easy it is to just think you can just afford everything you want. Before you know it you spent way more than you normally would in a year so it just doesn't last. A bank balance with no income and only outgoing is basically un sustainable no matter whats in it.
For most of my life iv always wondered why these wealthy people dont just hang up their boots and call it a day. I came to the conclusion they get hooked on the lifestyle, and also must enjoy what it is they do but id say mostly they get hooked on the lifestyle. Its exactly the same as ours except they need to spend 100 million on a private jet. 50k on bills, 50k on bodyguards and on lawyers its just insane.
