Buying dips can work out if you're planning to swing trade it. However buying dips for the long term your better off sitting back and being patient. The market will at some point stabilise and the price will be flat for a while. When you feel like you're robbing the store, thats usually a good sign that now is the time.
Problem now is Bitcoin has basically been in a bull run, crashed, swing traders bought it up and sold it for a double top. The cycle is right there, sometimes it takes a couple of days, sometimes weeks sometimes months to play out but the formula is always the same with every coin. After that its just a long slow bleed out. Bitcoin seems pretty stable at 40k but this is like a crowd of people poking it with a stick to see if it will do something. Eventually they give up and walk away.
