I dont think Ethereum will fix the fees or scale. Its basically a spectrum in terms of its capabilities. The same can be said for Bitcoin but people are stubborn and these projects are emotional to people.

They pretty much are, 200 pound of interest on 7k is not that bad per year really. But when your on a average salary of 18k per year your paying an extra 500 per year in 'tax' to chip 200 off the balance.
