For every cryptocurrency lover, a global cryptocurrency adoption will be like a prayer answered because it will give financial control to the people. Poverty to an extent will be eliminated, and this is something that will improve the state of living in the world at large.
Now, with cryptocurrency, there is an easier means of making money which most people will prefer. The ability to make money from cryptocurrency passively and at the comfort of home is one of the main reasons why there will be more preference for crypto earning. While discussing with a friend today, he said that cryptocurrency adoption will be good but will come with some implications. He explained that there will be fewer people who will want to accept unskilled labor and that the number of people who will want to take on skilled jobs will reduce. He acknowledged the fact that AI will take care of most jobs but he fears that it won't come by easily. He believes that underdeveloped countries will be the ones to suffer more from this negative implication of cryptocurrency adoption.
To an extent, I see his point and it is something that may pose some challenges in some countries in near future, especially underdeveloped countries. Is obvious that people will not prefer the usual 7 am to 5 pm work to crypto jobs. If people should have other forms of income, it is to create multiple sources of income to combat the volatility of cryptocurrency. Developed countries are the ones that may likely suffer from this issue because the conducive environment in the country can create a comfortable environment for people to stick to online earning rather than jobs that will demand them to work away from home.
In the end, it is more about individual preference. Some people will still not feel comfortable with cryptocurrency, some will still go for their career job while earning from cryptocurrency.
