A day at Adoption Drive

-----------

It has been my wish to adopt a pet, waited for long 6years and finally decided to join the adoption drive that is upcoming. My hubby has some bad experience with strays, he got chased by some stray dog when he was a child. I would too, if that would have happened to me.

I guess I was born a pet lover, i love cats, dogs, rabbits, basically anything that is furry.. lolx..

The day came, and i was attended by a pretty lady, her name is Meiling, I actually did some research on the list available for adoption, so i have in mind whom i love to meet. In the discussion : most of them are deemed not suitable for me, because they are either undergoing training and require a firm handler. Although my list did not work out, but she match me up with one much suitable for me. Her name is Han Han... She is such a pretty lady, she wasnt in my list, because i did not see her profile on website.

She is a middle size, weigh around 13kg. I observe her for awhile and realised, Hanhan is extremely quiet. She seems much at ease with the pack of dogs, with humans around she tend to hide away. And she totally avoided eye contact.
If human is on the left, she would face to the right.

Meiling helped me when i tried to carry her, because i have not handled a 13kg before. Those i have taken care of before are mostly 5kg - 9kg. **In the picture, Han han look lost, she must be thinking, what are you guys doing to me?

We even went for a walk

She walk very well on leash, extremely well behaved with no signs of any aggression.

I was very interested in adopting Hanhan, but i did not bring her home on the spot. I intend to travel in the next few days and thought maybe i can pick her up after my trip. But when i returned, I realised Hanhan has already found a home. I am abit disappointed, but i am more glad that she is now no longer in shelter, but is in comfort with her new family.
