My people, una well done o. The person that set this week's questions well done o. See how you just want to carry our legs out in public. I will answer them one by one.

What is/are your Favorite Nigerian Movie(s)?

My favorite Nigerian movie is osuofia in London. Till date, I am yet to see a comedy film that beats that movie. The originality that was carried out in that movie is top-notch. That movie is pure comedy. The producer really cooled down to select amazing acts who brought their A game on set. Those olden days, we had real actors. They wore their characters like cloths and gave us real acting.

In what areas has nollywood Improved and what are your expectations?

Nollywood has improved o. No jokes. In terms of technicality, I give them 100%. Our directors and cinematographers and even the actors have done so well by improving in their different fields. A lot of them have gone to learn from the masters and truth be told eh, when I sit and watch a Nigerian movie I enjoy it because of the clear picture quality especially in our contemporary movies. If you watch our cinema movies, you will see the difference and can even compare them to our Hollywood counterparts.

But my expectations in nollywood eh,I think so many of our actors are not trying at all. Especially our ladies. They are more bothered about their accent, their looks and not how they can embody their character. Only a handful of these actors are seen as very good and seen as people who can interpret a role. Let's move to asaba. If you watch an asaba movie, you fit vex. Because they don't take their time to shoot. They can shoot a movie in 2-3 days. Hence the reason why you see so many faults. But a cinema movie will make you fall in love with our nollywood movies. ROK is also trying as they now understand better too.
We are Also trying to change our story line. Omo a lot a times before you finish watching a movie, you must have known the end. That's why people get tired of our movies. But we dey try now sha.

Is Netflix really helping to improve Nolywood?

Yes because Netflix has some rules. Before u send a movie to Netflix, there are things they check like camera quality, the actors and the story line. If the actors are cinema faces and your camera quality is okay by their standard, then you have a go ahead to air on Netflix. My worry is that the storyline these days can be very annoying. I have seen some movies that should never ever be on Netflix. But they are seated peacefully on Netflix. Why? That is so because there is a cartel already. So you can go and produce nonsense and be rest assured that it will fly on Netflix naija so far you know a cartel member. This cartel thing is really spoiling our industry. In asaba it is worse. If you are not in their clique, no road for you o.

P/s: if you want to join asaba nollywood just go do nyash and rub bleaching cream😂😂😂
