The place is commonly known as the Simala Shrine or the Simala Parish Church is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church dedicated to the Virgin Mary in Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines.
As a celebration of our 8-year relationship with my boyfriend, we went there to offer our prayers of gratefulness, surrendered all our doubts to let Mama Mary with His son guide us through the way, and thanked of all the blessings we received not just for ourselves but also both of our families.
Our travel from Danao City to Sibonga took 2hours. When we arrived at the place, we lined up and waited for our turn to enter the Monestary. The heat of the sun together with the very huge crowd who lined up are all worth it ❤️
