I came across my best friend of 19 years yesterday and I can't help but express how excited i was to see her after being seperated for about five years.
Just then, i thought of this 7daypositivitychallenge and decided to draft a short poem titled tell a tale
in memory of her; so here we go.....
TELL A TALE
Tell a tale of someone dear; a friend who's worth the rant
Tell a tale to share the pain and joy which heals the soul
Together we've cried, our headache we've shared; holding our hands while journeying afar
Tell a tale of friendship's worth, where every secrets' told
Through hateful days and scornful looks, we've proved our love and built our trust
Tell a tale of endless love, from friendship's deepest bond
People have diffrent perceptions about best friends; while some insist that there can only be one best friend, others assert they have best friends based on the diverse aspects of their personalities.
Whatever the case may be, a best friend is someone who gets to you, understands your person, and even the words you utter.
Through the greatest distance, there's always kinship to bind both and love, to ignite the flames; so if you're void of friendship's ache or memories of special bond, how about you think it twice?
A good friend would be a great choice.
