Third week in a row raining, so go outside to take photos is a waste of time. Between storms and storms, sometimes the sun rises for a while, but there is not much to see... until two days ago. I remember that something awake me very early, around 5 in the morning. Of course, my first thought was about to continue sleeping but then I noticed something in the light streaming through the window... it seemed to have a slight purple tone. So I grabbed my smartphone and jumped out of bed, at fact. And it was totally worthy!
Llueve por tercera semana consecutiva, y salir a tomar fotos es una perdida de tiempo. Entre tormenta y tormenta, a veces sale el sol por un rato, pero hay poco que ver... hasta hace dos días. Recuerdo que algo me despertó muy temprano, sobre las 5 de la madrugada. Por supuesto, mi primer pensamiento fue seguir durmiendo pero entonces noté un algo en la luz que se colaba a través de la ventana... parecía tener un leve tono púrpara. Agarré el "smartphone" y salté de la cama, de inmediato. ¡Y la verdad es que valió la pena!
Summer is almost here, and as I'm placed between mountains I can only see a full sunrise at that season of year. But I noticed we are already close to it,when after a couple of weeks without seeing a sunrise, the coloring of this one was impressive. I think it is the first time that I have hardly needed to make color adjustments for the photos to capture the feeling of the moment.
In these three photos you can see how the colors go from red and purple to orange and garnet... I couldn't see much of the transition to yellows, because of course the sky was just covered, and a huge storm happened. It was a magnificent show anyway.

El verano ya está casí aquí, y debido a estar etre montañas sólo puedo ver un amanecer completo en esa época del año. Pero se nota que ya estamos cerca de ella, depués de un par de semanas sin ver un amanecer, el colorido de este fue impresionante. Creo que es la primera vez que casi no he necesitado hacer ajustes de color para que las fotos plasmen el momento. A lucky sunrise.
En estas tres fotos se puede apreciar como los colores pasan de rojo y purpura, a naranja y granate... poco pude ver de la evolución a los amarillos, pues por supuesto se acabó de cubrir el cielo, y cayó una buena tormenta. De todas formas fue un espectáculo magnífico. Un amanecer con suerte.
