It's been too long a night; how i wished the night will give way to morning so you could wake up from this deep sleep.
Papa, do you know that Tracy, your baby girl, asked of you this morning? Even the cat and dog have combed the whole house in search of you....
What do we tell her? What do we tell them?
Papa, you were the pillar of the family, your mere presence warmed our hearts. Our friends were your friends. You shouldered the burdens of all and sundry to the admiration of both admirers and haters.
Papa, You are irreplaceable
You were our backbone,
You dedicated your life to serving others, your name was synonymous to generosity. What a man you were! My sweet spirited Papa.
You were the light in our darkness, our companion on this lonely road of life, our number one fan! You never discriminated amongst your children and you were quick to reprimand and chastise when the occasion arose.
You may not have been perfect in the eyes of the world, but you were perfect to us your family. You will forever remain our hero.
Your demise devastated us all, but we have put ourselves together now, we miss you dearly but we must move on. That's what you would have wanted us to do. Life must certainly go on. We shall build on your legacy Papa, We shall make you proud. Yes Papa! You shall surely smile down on us from heaven. Cheer us on Papa.
