Hola chicos ¿Qué tal? Bueno, cómo he dicho anteriormente, mi mamá está aquí en Ecuador con mi familia y conmigo, algo que agradezco mucho.
Hi guys, what's up? Well, as I said before, my mum is here in Ecuador with my family and me, something I am very grateful for.
Por motivos de trabajo, casi no paso con ella. Compartimos más tiempo juntos es en la tarde noche al llegar a casa y los fines de semana, así que trato de aprovechar ese tiempo con ella, la cual pasa más es con los niños y mi esposa.
Uno de los motivos de su viaje fue por el tema de salud, algo que estamos haciendo con mucho esfuerzo, ya que los exámenes son bastante costosos, pero también con gusto, porque queremos verla bien. Pero no todo es citas medicas y exámenes, también hay que llevarla a conocer y disfrutar juntos, así que la llevamos a una ciudad cercana donde está el puerto de este estado o provincia.
For work reasons, I hardly spend any time with her. We spend most of our time together in the evenings when we get home and on weekends, so I try to make the most of that time with her, which is spent more with the children and my wife.
One of the reasons for her trip was because of her health, something we are doing with a lot of effort, as the tests are quite expensive, but also with pleasure, because we want to see her well. But not everything is about medical appointments and examinations, we also have to take her to get to know and enjoy together, so we are taking her to a nearby city where the port of this state or province is.
Mi mamá conoció la Ciudad de Manta, lugar donde mi esposa trabajó por unos meses, hace algunos años y también una ciudad que nos gusta, ya que su avenida principal y más transitada tiene como vista el océano Pacífico. Ella aún no va a la playa, pero pudo ver el mar muy de cerca. Incluso la llevamos a una parte donde ya puede hasta sentir la arena.
En Manta también hay un centro comercial que le hace honor al nombre del océano, el Mall del Pacífico, es uno de los más grandes. Allí la sentamos en un mueble masajeador jeje, al principio ella estaba algo renuente pero luego quería más minutos de masajes, ya que dijo que estuvieron muy buenos y su cuerpo los necesitaba. También recorrimos mientras hablábamos.
My mother got to know the city of Manta, where my wife worked for a few months a few years ago and also a city we like, as its main and busiest avenue overlooks the Pacific Ocean. She doesn't go to the beach yet, but she could see the sea up close. We even took her to a place where she could even feel the sand.
In Manta City there is also a shopping centre that lives up to the name of the ocean, the Mall of the Pacific, one of the biggest. There we sat her on a massage table hehe, at first she was a bit reluctant but then she wanted more minutes of massages, as she said they were very good and her body needed them. We also walked around while we talked.
La zona donde nos detuvimos fue en el área de comidas, dónde todos almorzamos y disfrutamos de un rato ameno, ella se sentó en compañía de su nieta Ammy, nuestra hija mayor, quien es una gran guía turística jeje, ya que le decía a la abuela todo sobre el lugar y adónde debía ir. Ellas dos se la llevan muy bien y comparten un buen tiempo juntas, ya que Ammy está de vacaciones.
Luego de esto, reposamos, hablamos un rato y fuimos por unos helados. El viaje en bus dura menos de una hora, más el recorrido hasta llegar al Centro Comercial. Ya luego de terminar todo, bajamos un rato a la zona playera y luego decidimos volver, ya que no es fácil andar con 3 niños y además una señora mayor que le duelen las piernas, aunque gracias a Dios ya mi mamá está mucho mejor y en control médico.
The area where we stopped was at the food court, where we all had lunch and enjoyed a nice time, she sat with her granddaughter Ammy, our eldest daughter, who is a great tour guide hehe, as she told grandma all about the place and where to go. The two of them get along very well and spend a lot of time together, as Ammy is on holiday.
After that, we rested, talked for a while and went for some ice cream. The bus ride takes less than an hour, plus the journey to the shopping centre. After finishing everything, we went down to the beach area for a while and then we decided to go back, as it is not easy to walk with 3 children and an old lady whose legs hurt, although thank God my mum is much better and under medical control.
