Pobably there're more possibilities why people have depressions, but I've noticed more often some of them were attacks of the real enemies (Ephesians 6:12), so they were vanished after I've banned Satan in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm not sure about other reasons for depressions, but I think it's important to mention demons attack Christians too on this way when they get a chance for this.
