Hola queridos compañeros, gusto en saludarlos, hoy quiero compartir nuevamente en esta hermosa comunidad de Insectos del Mundo unas hermosas fotografías que capture de un insecto muy conocido por todos nosotros, y no sólo eso, también pude grabar el preciso momento en el que este insecto estaba alimentandose.    El Saltamontes 🦗 :

Es un tipo de insecto herbívoro, su nombre científico es Acrididae del suborden caelifera. Muy conocido popularmente como: Saltamontes, langostas, tucuras, o chapulines.

🦗 Se estima de que estos animalitos sean el grupo vivo más antiguo de insectos herbívoros masticadores, en el que se remonta su historia hace unos 250 millones de años.

  The Grasshopper 🦗:

It is a type of herbivorous insect, its scientific name is Acrididae of the suborder Caelifera. Very popularly known as: Grasshoppers, locusts, tucuras, or grasshoppers.
🦗 These animals are estimated to be the oldest living group of chewing herbivorous insects, dating back some 250 million years.

🦗Poseen largas patas posteriores para saltar y un aparato bucal para masticar y comer hojas. Su actividad es principalmente nocturna y utilizan sus antenas y ojos para explorar el terreno.
🦗Los más jóvenes son incapaces de volar, sólo lo pueden hacer cuando alcanzan la etapa adulta, sin embargo un saltamontes adulto , puede saltar alrededor de un metro (veinte longitudes de cuerpo) sin usar sus alas.

🦗They have long hind legs for jumping and a mouth appliance for chewing and eating leaves. Their activity is mainly nocturnal and they use their antennae and eyes to explore the terrain.

🦗De hecho algunas literaturas afirman que desde el 2018, la UE ya considera estos como alimento. Entre ellos, uno de los que cuenta con más propiedades es el saltamontes, el típico bicho de cabeza grande y patas alargadas...
