I'm a total noob here and with all things cryptocurrency so I'll be bumbling my way through the rabbit hole in an attempt to learn more!!!
I have to start by thanking @LukeStokes for his wisdom and patience. With a few FB posts he sparked my interests in learning more and his extreme patience kept me coming back to him. Of course I'm not the first to come to him so he generally already has quick replies to my stupd questions:
Me: "so uh... what is a blockchain"

Which is awesome bc then I can just dive right in and/or read it when I have time.
The further i go down this rabbit hole the more I realize that I don't know ANYTHING!!!! depth = questions. Questions = more links from Luke. Links from Luke = more knowledge. More knowledge = friends asking me stupid questions. Circle of knowledge. :)
So as of now I have a vague understanding of what a blockchain actually is, have a Coinbase and a Bitshare account (or is it called open ledger???), own some cryptos and even have my first post on steemit!!! I think I'm well on my way.
Now i just need to figure out the difference between Steem and Steem power, private keys, transferring from Open Ledger to steemit, and.... on man the list goes on.
