The point of this project to start a conversation about how we want steemit to look. Lots of people talk about the back end but the front end is also very impotent.
The new view is very clean and only displays the most important information. It's not nearly as messy as old grid view (I will clean it up next update). It has padding on the sides that would change depending on screen size.
The new notification menu will have all types of notifications.
This will make it easier for people to reply and interact better.
People thought that the submit button should be visible without clicking menus. So I brought it back. And it looks great!
