It is impressive how technology can make better use of something that would otherwise have been abandoned.
Like this case, if this ption did not exist, surely those oil fields could stop being exploited, because they can't find a way to get the oil out, however, it is a way to squeeze the soil, literally.
I imagine that there must be some adverse effect on our planet, generally these new methods bring some aftermath, generally.
