Hello @blocktrades, my respects to your opinion, but I don't see that this proposal serves to minimize the use of automatic votes.
What it could rather do is dissipate the desire to invest in Hive, seeing a decrease in return, after investing in the platform. And I don't think that's what you want.
Apart from that many projects would be left out, since it is a way, through leasing HP, that they can get support to maintain projects.
Neither do I think that the conclusion of some projects, because of not having the possibility of acquiring millions of HP to become sustainable, is something good for the platform.
I think the best thing is to look for other ways to call investors, not to keep them out. This is my humble opinion.
