I have no doubt that in each musical genre there are those who break the common pattern, end up being accepted by many, but also rejected. In this particular case I bring an artist with a very original and irreverent style. His videos are really crazy, a very rare use of choruses in Reggae, but very original. I'm talking about:
Ronald Reggae
The truth is that even the way of giving personal information by themselves is very crazy, when I enter their website, and click to read their biography, says the following, I leave literally what it says:
”February 1781, James Watt issues a patent for the steam engine. July 1964, Congress passes the Civil Rights Act. March 1987, Hulk Hogan body slams Andre the Giant. These moments in human history pale in comparison to a series of events which unfolded in late 2015 and led to the formation of a musical group that Rolling Stone has called "we do not accept submissions". You have come to this page in search of something. Truth, perhaps? You have found truth. You have found justice. You have found Carmen Sandiego. You have found Ronald Reggae.
Ronald Reggae is the stylish five-piece jam vehicle your buddy Steve will not shut the fuck up about. Ryan Datino, Jack Ahearn, Scott Pires, Simon O'Keefe, and Anthony Trabucco aren't just your favorite local, working-class rock and roll outfit -- they're your friends. You trust them. You'd do anything for them - wear your shirt inside out, feed your cat dirt, call your mom Roger. Yeah, that's what we thought.. Source
HA HA HA
I didn't expect that at all, he's really a little crazy, but maybe that's what makes him so original.
Here's a song whose video from beginning to end is totally...like saying...I simply invite you to watch it:
I didn't know this character, but it's kind of a mix between reggae and rock (at least he personally). However I don't dislike it, there are probably people who don't like his style, but for everyone there is, diversity is necessary...
There is a classic of rock, immortalized by the band Queen, with its super singer Mercury, this song is Bohemy Rhapsody. But, Ronald Reggae has made his own version and he titled it Jamaican Rhapsody, here I leave the video so you can know it (if you haven't done it yet).
Ronald Reggae - Jamaican Rhapsody
I said, there's something for everyone, many may not like this style, some may.
To be more aware of this particular character I leave the links to his website and his main networks:
