Good day all in this community i hope you are in good health.
This is my first time of making a post in this community #diyhub and i strongly believe that my work will be approved by all in the community.

What i want to show is called block pillar cap
It is used to decorate the pillar before putting on tiles.

I will tell all what it takes to get it to this level.
As this is entirely my creation.

First i will start by display the tools needed to get the work done.

There are: Angle iron Carved mould Hammer Trowel Measuring tape Scraper Brush Concrete nail Headpan Shovel
The angle iron will be two and i will set each one on one side so that the center will be open, then i will pour sand on that space i created .

The sand is what will determine how the thickness will be.

After i will now use the carved mould and run through it to get the lines especially when it's double. i will also use it to get the thickness .

I will use the headpan and shovel to measure sand when i have the sand i need i will now add cement on top and turn it very well to mixed together.

Time to mould

After turning the sand and cement together i will open the middle and pour some water and start turning it again until ir get to this point

Then i will pour it on the sand i keep in the middle of rhe two angle iron i will start moulding it using the carved design.
The first time will be like this.

I will continue on it sometimes adding water or cement on the headpan for it te be the way i want it to be either watery or thick until it gets to this point.

Then i will allow it to thicken up before cutting it to sizes .

After a day or two when am sure it's strong enough i will now pull them up and sweep off the sands on it.

Time to fix

This is where the concrete nails xome into play, after taking the measurements of the pillar i will first nail the concrete nail to the wall pour water on the pillar so that the cement can gum very well i will then do rhe same to the mould and place it on the pillar the nails serving as it stand .

I will do the same on the other sides too since it's squre in shape ,after i will now dress rhe edges using the scraper and the brush.

In the end this how it gonna be .
